Employers should treat their employees fairly. Employees must be paid for their work, have their rights taken seriously and not be subject to dismissal without proper procedures having taken place.
If you are experiencing a situation at work, a lot of information about your rights is available on the gov.uk website. If you need further advice, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau might be able to help. Another option is to go to your trade union, who will be able to provide legal advice, or to speak to a solicitor directly.
